More than a month after announcing the title to its Monsters Inc. prequel, Disney/Pixar has revealed the plot for Monsters University.
According to the Disney Blog, Billy Crystal and John Goodman will reprise their roles as monster friends Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan.
The sequel will tell the story of Mike and Sully's first meeting at school. They couldn't stand each other, but they overcame their differences to become friends.
The Disney Blog reports that the movie has a release date of June 21, 2013, which is nearly 12 years after the original.It will be shown in Disney Digital 3D in select?theaters.
