Best Chardonnay From California - Wines, Spirits, Beers, and ...

Summer time is good food, cold drinks, and relaxing with friends and family. If you love wine like I do, you got to have a good wine to complement well with food. Or it has to be super chilled for a very hot summer day to just simply kick back and enjoy. So lets look at some great summer wines.

Summer wines should go well with chicken and steak. Chicken and steak is used a lot because of grilling. If its a heavy meal, you want a full bodied or robust wine. A bottle of Errazuriz Wild Ferment Chardonnay for around twenty dollars is awesome to try! The vintage year is 2004. Depending on your meat, especially fish, this wine is herbal. That is hard to find! Along with it having a smoky taste along with lemon-curd. It is a white wine with ferments that uses wild yeasts. The flavor is out of this world along with the aroma. Try this also with a great pasta dish.

A great seafood summer salad should be definitely served with a light and crisp wine with a hint of fruit. Try a bottle from the country Chile called Montes Limited Selection Sauvignon Blanc from 2006 for around fourteen dollars or so. This is a citrus tasting wine that is crisp. The grapes are grown very close to the Pacific Ocean in the Leyda Valley.

With summer time there is always parties. A great summer wine for celebration or good times is a sparkly Blanc de Noirs from Frank Family Vineyards. The aroma is toasted hazelnuts, strawberries, and baked bread all rolled into one. Then, the flavors roll into peaches and red berries. To your palate, it is smooth and creamy mixed in little bitty bubbles. There is a sweet after taste of berries. It is a wine that is dry and crisp, which makes it a wonderful summertime drink.
